Indie Horror: Lance Weller’s Head Trauma
August 15th, 2006 by Andre Soares
I missed Lance Weller’s Head Trauma, the story of a drifter who returns to his family home only to find himself immersed in horrific nightmares, when it was screened at this year’s Los Angeles Film Festival.
I’m a total wimp when it comes to horror movies, so I tend to avoid them like the plague. Even inane stuff like The Sixth Sense gave me nightmares for weeks (though perhaps because at the time I was still shaken up by my mother’s recent death).
In any case, for those who are into horror films Head Trauma will be screened in 15 U.S. cities, including San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Boston, beginning Aug. 18. On Sep. 26, it will be released on DVD.
