Jackson Rathbone and Ashley Greene play Jasper Hale and Alice Cullen, lovers and members of the vampire Cullen Clan in David Slade’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Other Cullen family members are Edward (Robert Pattinson), Dr. Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser), Emmett (Kellan Lutz), and Rosalie (Nikki Reed).
The clairvoyant Alice, who has befriended the human Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), can see the future only after someone has made a decision. That’s why she has trouble “seeing” either the deadly Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) or the even deadlier Volturi (Dakota Fanning and others). Jasper, a former Confederate soldier, can feel and influence people’s moods and emotions.

Ashley Greene, along with Kellan Lutz, made headlines when contract negotiations with Summit Entertainment took a bumpy turn a few weeks ago. Reasons for the issue: money, obviously, but also the fact that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn could — or rather, would — be turned into two movies.
Among Ashley Greene’s other upcoming film roles are those in A Warrior’s Heart, opposite Lutz; The Apparition, with Tom Felton; and Butter, with Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde, and Alicia Silverstone.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in the United States and about a dozen other countries on June 30. The world premiere will be held at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 24. Melissa Rosenberg adapted Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel.
In addition to Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, and the other aforementioned Eclipse cast members, the latest Twilight movie also features Taylor Lautner, Xavier Samuel, Anna Kendrick, Booboo Stewart, Billy Burke, Daniel Cudmore, Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones, and Jodelle Ferland.
