Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page in Christopher Nolan’s Inception: One doesn’t have to be a dream extractor to (pretty much) know that Guy Hendrix Dyas‘ production design will be shortlisted by the Art Directors Guild.
Following a brief break around New Year’s weekend, awards season in North America is back in full force. Earlier today, the Producers Guild, the Writers Guild, and the Vancouver Film Critics Circle announced their list of nominees. Additionally, the list of nominees for the London Evening Standard awards was also made public.
This morning, it’ll be the Art Directors Guild’s (ADG) turn to announce its roster of nominees. The same goes for the USC Scripter awards. The People’s Choice Award winners will also be made known — if The Twilight Saga: Eclipse doesn’t bag a couple dozen trophies the whole solar system will fall into disarray. In fact, expect the Earth to become the Moon’s satellite.
Later on, we’ll have the National Society of Film Critics winners, the British Academy’s (BAFTA) longlists, Marta Etura and Jorge Sanz presenting the Spanish Academy Goya Award nominations, the Directors Guild (DGA) nominations, and so on. See below the awards season calendar for the next seven days:
Jan. 5 – ADG nominations; USC Scripter nominations; People’s Choice Award winners
