Breaking Dawn Part 2 Sneak Peek: Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Foy, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner

Breaking Dawn Part 2 sneak peak at Comic Con 2012. "Much screaming" greeted Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as they got up on stage at the Comic Con 2012 Breaking Dawn Part 2 panel held earlier today at the San Diego Convention Center. Before all the screaming, however, a moment of remembrance (and I assume silence) was held in memory of Gisela Gagliardi, the Twilight fan who died two days ago after being struck by a car outside the Convention Center.

ComingSoon.net has live blogged the event. The source used for the information found in this article about Comic Con 2012's Breaking Dawn Part 2 sneak peek was Silas Lesnick's posts. (ComingSoon refused to reveal Lesnick's gender. All they would say is that s/he is, quite appropriately, a vampire. Unclear if a newborn, vegetarian, nomad, or what.)

Of note, Breaking Dawn Part 2 director Bill Condon wasn't present because he's currently scoring the film in London, but both Mackenzie Foy (the hybrid baby Renesmee) and author Stephenie Meyer were in attendance.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 sneak peek: the first seven minutes

The Breaking Dawn Part 2 sneak peek at Comic Con 2012 consisted of the film's first seven minutes. As per Lesnick's account, BD2 starts where Breaking Dawn Part 1 left off: Bella Swan-Cullen (Stewart) opens her eyes and realizes she's now a vampire. She embraces Edward Cullen (Pattinson), who winces in pain, as Bella is a super-strong newborn. Before she is allowed to see Renesmee, she must hunt so she can gain some strength. (And perhaps not feel tempted to chew on her half-human baby daughter.)

While running through the woods, Bella hears / sees a deer. She's about to have her lunch when a mountain climber in the vicinity cuts his hand. Bella smells the human blood, and races that way. Edward stops her. Good vampires don't kill people, people do.

Bella returns to the poor deer. Conveniently, a mountain lion is about to eat the deer – which reminds us that nature is vicious and that (good) vampires are no more cruel than other animals (and much less cruel than human hunters who kill for the pleasure of killing). Ultimately, the mountain lion gets the life sucked out of him/her. The deer escapes (unlike the beautiful creature at the beginning of the first Twilight movie).

Edward and Bella return home where they're approached by Jacob Black (Lautner). Jacob mentions Renesmee, which puzzles Bella, who then remarks that her former almost-lover does indeed stink (like every werewolf worth its fur).

In a second clip, Bella is taught how to act human. She has trouble doing things as lethargically and weakly as, say, Arnold Schwarzenegger in his Pumping Iron days (will he be at Comic Con for The Expendables 2)?

Does this Breaking Dawn Part 2 sneak peek sound intriguing? Well, there's much more to come. Just wait until the Volturi arrive. Not to mention the funkily dressed Amazon coven vampires. [Check out the BREAKING DAWN PART 2 trailer.]
