Glee’s Chris Colfer displays his Golden Globe backstage in the press room at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, on Sunday, January 16. Colfer won his Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. The 20-year-old Colfer plays Kurt Hummel in Glee, which won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical. Also in 2010, Colfer was one of the voices in Marmaduke.
In addition to calling Glee producer Ryan Murphy his "fairy godfather" — no gay pun intended, I assume — Colfer also dedicated his Golden Globe to "the amazing kids that watch our show and that our show celebrates and are constantly told ‘no’ [by] people and environments and bullies at school, that they can’t be who they are or can’t have what they want because of who they are." In addition, Colfer said something about dropping his heart between Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore or whereabouts, asking that if anyone found it to hand it back to him. It isn’t clear if anyone returned Colfer’s missing organ.
