David Fincher's THE SOCIAL NETWORK Tops National Board of Review Awards 2010

David Fincher's The Social Network, about the founding of and the fighting behind Facebook, has received four top mentions at the 2010 National Board of Review Awards. The Social Network won awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Jesse Eisenberg), and Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin).

Other winners announced thus far include surprising Best Actress Lesley Manville for Mike Leigh's drama Another Year, Best Supporting Actor Christian Bale for The Fighter, and Best Supporting Actress Jacki Weaver for the Australian crime drama Animal Kingdom.

Xavier Beauvois drama inspired by the real-life massacre of Catholic priests in North Africa, Of Gods and Men was the Best Foreign Film. Toy Story 3 and Waiting for 'Superman' were, respectively, Best Animated Feature and Best Documentary.
