The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade interviewed by MTV at the Eclipse world premiere at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles:
Regarding the Eclipse experience, "this was like jumping into an abyss for me. … On a daily basis, things surprised me and I had to move on my feet every single day."
Stephenie Meyer said the tent scene — featuring Taylor Lautner’s Jacob lying next to Kristen Stewart’s Bella while Robert Pattinson’s Edward watched — was "all on the page. So, really, you know … I think one of the toughest scenes to get through was a scene with Charlie [Billy Burke] and Bella in the kitchen when they talk about her virginity."
Slade went on to explain that it was hard to get one take completed with everyone keeping a straight face.
"I was feeling very awkward myself for both of them, actually, particularly for Billy Burke. Because he had the mustache. … A lot of that was improvised, and I thank the actors for that."
As for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: "Good luck to Bill Condon with that birth scene!"
Slade’s advice to the next Twilight Saga director:
"You know. [laughs] Loaded question! Once you get to a certain point, it’s just getting out of bed in the morning. … It’s a really common — actual — thing for directors [to stay in bed smoking for 20 minutes, afraid to move]. … You gotta get your technique down. Just dive into the pool."

Stephanie Meyer has it right on. That scene must have been torture!
David Slade made a very good movie as for twilight eclipse. wow! but as for bill condon is intention sound good but he’s last movie had 1 star. chritiques were bad. I’m scared he doesn’t do a great job. Why changing again? How about they work together?
