Denis Villeneuve and guest
Denis Villeneuve, whose Incendies was an Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year, arrives with guest for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Incendies lost the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar to Susanne Bier’s In a Better World (Denmark).
The other competitors in the Best Foreign Language Film category were Dogtooth (Greece), Biutiful (Mexico), and Outside the Law (Algeria). Villeneuve’s Polytechnique won Canada’s Genie Award for Best Picture last year.
