The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, and directed by David Slade, opens in the United States on June 30. Whether you love the stories, hate them, or couldn’t care less one way or other, it’s undeniable that Eclipse is the most anticipated movie of the summer.
The anticipation is such that even the Eclipse soundtrack, to be released on June 8, has become a hot item.
Atlantic Records have begun announcing the names of bands (posted at MySpace Music) to be included on the soundtrack. (Howard Shore has composed the film’s score.)
In addition to the previously announced Muse song “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever),” they are Metric, “Eclipse (All Yours)”; The Bravery, “Ours”; Florence + The Machine, “Heavy In Your Arms”; Band Of Horses, “Life On Earth”; Fanfarlo, “Atlas”; and UNKLE, “With You In My Head (featuring The Black Angels).”
Also, The Black Keys, “Chop And Change”; The Dead Weather, “Rolling In On A Burning Tire”; Beck and Bat For Lashes, “Let’s Get Lost”; Vampire Weekend, “Jonathan Low”; and Eastern Conference Champions, “A Million Miles An Hour.”
