Bella Swan, Edward Cullen touch: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson in David Slade’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Edward touches Bella — softly, since she’s so "breakable." This is another romantic moment featuring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as the Twilight Saga series’ star-crossed [not struck!] lovers.
There’s nothing spectacular about this particular setting — no sunlight, no meadow, no snow — but regardless, it’s a beautifully shot moment. The rapport between the two performers, especially on Pattinson’s part, is palpable even in the photo. (Click on the image to enlarge it.)
In addition to Pattinson and Stewart, Eclipse also features Taylor Lautner, Bryce Dallas Howard, Xavier Samuel, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Dakota Fanning, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Gil Birmingham, Kirsten Prout, Anna Kendrick, Cameron Bright, and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
Some play assorted vampires (both good and bad; both old and new-born), others play werewolves, and there are even a few scattered humans here and there.
Directed by David Slade from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg, which in turn was based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling neo-Gothic/horror love story, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in the United States on June 30. The world premiere will be held at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on June 24.
