Oscar Host James Franco Singing “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me”

This year’s Academy Awards ceremony was supposed to feature one musical number in which co-host and Best Actor nominee James Franco would appear on stage in drag singing “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.” That’s the Golden Globe-winning Cher song from Burlesque, which was expected to receive an Oscar nomination but didn’t.

That showstopper was scrapped, at least in part because of Franco’s musical inabilities. You can hear the actor rehearsing in the recording below. I’m not sure if that’s for real — if Franco was truly trying to sing — or if it’s all in jest.
