Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, The Twilight Saga: New Moon
You can vote for the National Movie Awards, the British version of the People's Choice Awards.
Chris Weitz's The Twilight Saga: New Moon is up for best fantasy film, in addition to the performance of the year award for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, or Taylor Lautner.
James Cameron's Avatar is also in the running in the fantasy film category. Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington are up for performance of the year.
David Slade's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, also featuring the Pattinson-Stewart-Lautner trio, is up for most eagerly awaited movie of the summer, along with Sex in the City 2, Toy Story 3, and The A-Team.
Among the breakthrough movies are Audrey Tautou's Coco Before Chanel, Noomi Rapace's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Michael Caine's Harry Brown. Needless to say, Tautou, Rapace, and Caine are nowhere to be found among the "performers of the year." But Gemma Arterton is in there for Clash of the Titans, and so are Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Emma Watson for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
And two-time Oscar winner Emma Thompson for Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang.
So, the National Movie Awards almost make the People's Choice Awards look elitist and highbrow.
Voting closes in 9 days, 7 hours … and counting.
The winners will be announced on May 26 on ITV1.
