Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen looks into Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan’s eyes while outside the City of Forks’ police station in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I’m not sure exactly where this moment is found in Stephenie Meyer’s novel. But both Pattinson and Stewart look great in the picture. Edward’s blue shirt helps. (Click on the photo to enlarge it.)
One thing I noticed is that Pattinson’s Edward is very hairy. Perhaps I’m misremembering things, but I could swear that in the novels Edward is supposed to have a smooth body. Minor detail.
Directed by David Slade, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in the United States and about a dozen other countries on June 30. Melissa Rosenberg adapted Meyer’s novel.
Also in the Eclipse cast: Taylor Lautner, Bryce Dallas Howard, Kellan Lutz, Xavier Samuel, Dakota Fanning, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Billy Burke, Daniel Cudmore, Anna Kendrick, and Jodelle Ferland.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (Kimberley French / Summit Entertainment)

You are right about the hairless thing. Summit doesn’t bother with consistency and the makeup department should be fired. The wigs are awful and so are the vampire contacts. In Twilight Bella had curly dark brown hair. In New Moon it was stick straight and redder. I guess we can believe that movie Bella changed her look even though book Bella didn’t. In Twilight Edward was young and charming. In New Moon he looked like a walking corpse with yellow eyes. The more money the series makes, the worse it gets. None of the changes will stop Eclipse from earning over $200 million dollars at least.
