More Robert Pattinson images from the Bel Ami shoot in Budapest. Those are actually very cool despite their shakiness. You even get to see Pattinson apparently discussing with one of his directors how to perform a scene. (I’m not sure which co-director it was; I’m still unable to differentiate between Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod.)
Pattinson is wearing his usual costume which reminds me of Fred Astaire in Top Hat minus the dancing. At one point, Pattinson/Georges Duroy dashes out and then suddenly stops and walks back rather sullenly. I wonder what it must have felt like to have all those eyes on you — not only the fans’, but the extras’ as well. When you’re the star, all eyes are on you.
Before getting back in his black Mercedes, Pattinson briefly waves at the fans. He looks pretty tired, but tries to smile at them. (I could hear the screaming fans in my head…)
The video clip owner explains on the clip’s YouTube page that the accompanying song is Eszter Bartók’s jazzy "I don’t want to lose you," adding that Bartók "is one of the best Hungarian musicians. I added this song to my video because I think it suits age of Bel Ami’s story because of it’s [sic] genre and lyrics."
Justification for the clip’s shaky nature: "I have no tripod I’m poor…"
Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Next, Robert Pattinson will be seen with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which opens on June 30.
I love that song!
