Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in bed: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
In the last couple of days, new images of eagerly anticipated 2011 releases have been cropping up online and in newsstands.
Those include a closeup of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in bed in Bill Condon’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn; an official image of Andrew Garfield garbed in Peter Parker’s spidery red-and-blue costume in Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot; Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo; and Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon featured on the new book cover for Sara Gruen’s novel Water for Elephants. Pattinson and Witherspoon star in the upcoming film version directed by Francis Lawrence.
Above is the first image of the batch (follow link at the bottom of this post to check out the others), published in Entertainment Weekly’s 2011 film preview.
Pattinson and Stewart went to Rio de Janeiro to film Edward and Bella’s honeymoon, but many of the indoor sequences were shot in Baton Rouge. The heavenly romantic interlude portrayed in the photo at the top of this post gives no indication of the wild night of sex and feathers implied in the book or of all the dire situations to follow. Perhaps that’s the point.

God that just makes you want Robert Pattinson even more….good lord
Not bad. It’s too bad their not filming two versions of the film: a rated R version and a PG-13 version.
