Robert Pattinson on the 2011 Golden Globes red carpet. Pattinson, Remember Me, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse weren’t nominated for anything, but the Twilight Saga’s Edward Cullen was there to present with TRON: Legacy’s Olivia Wilde the Best Foreign Language Film award to Susanne Bier’s surprise winner A Better World.

Robert Pattinson’s presence at the Golden Globes worked two ways: Pattinson is a good TV-audience magnet, and his attendance was a good reminder that he has a movie coming out this spring. That’s Francis Lawrence’s Water for Elephants, co-starring Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.

Later in 2011, Robert Pattinson will be seen once again as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, directed by Bill Condon, and co-starring Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The first official Breaking Dawn image, showing Pattinson’s Edward and Stewart’s Bella in nuptial bliss, was released on Sunday as well.
