Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor display their Golden Globe backstage in the press room at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, on Sunday, January 16. Ross and Reznor won the Globe in the category of Best Original Score – Motion Picture for David Fincher’s The Social Network. Hans Zimmer had probably been the favorite in that category for his score for Christopher Nolan’s Inception.
Trent Reznor is best known for the 1994 song "Closer," probably because the chorus includes the line "I wanna fuck you like an animal / I wanna feel you from the inside." Atticus Ross co-composed the score for The Book of Eli, an apocalyptic drama starring Denzel Washington as a Bible-thumping avenger, and is currently working with Reznor on the score of Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which stars Rooney Mara.
