Okay, so I have to admit, I am a fan of Rob's as Cedric, Edward, Tyler, or any other role he chooses to play. He fits into this movie just as much as he has with his previous roles. I loved this movie. I'm very touched by it. It is truly an amazing film. I am a 30 year old Twilight fan. Still, I saw Rob's character as Tyler, not as Edward. I believe Twilight fans can and do have the same emotional feelings at the end of this movie as anyone else. 9/11 didn't just effect the US, it effected everyone around the globe. The character I related to the most was Caroline. I grew up with a dad exactly like her's. At least the problems between the two of them get resolved in the end. In real life, problems don't always get resolved. My family has done everything to try to resolve the problems with my dad. He's the only one who refuses to resolve anything, therefore, nothing can be resolved.

Ok, so I have to admit I was not a fan of Robert Pattinson as Edward. BUT what the heck does that have to do with this film???? I hate how everyone thinks that he isn't good for this role because of his Edward persona. He fits into this movie much better than he did in the Twilight Series. Of course that's just my personal opinion.

I honestly LOVED this movie, I'm still very touched by it and not quite able to exhibit my response just yet. It is truly an amazing film... in my opinion anyway.

I'm just beyond being a teenager (though I am a true Twilight fan) and yes, I'll admit, I was thinking about how hot R-Patz looked! But this film blew me away. From the beginning, I remember thinking, there is going to be a reason this is not set in the present day. It was literally moments before it was revelaed that I realised. I think the inclusion of 9/11 enhanced the meaning of the film, and revealed that what we do isn't insignificant, as Tyler questions at the start of the film. 9/11 was unexpected, and to me personally, the sheer injustice was magnified, for I'm sure there were many like Tyler, who never were at the WTC, yet on that day at that time, there they were. More to the fact, that it was the significance and goodness of Tylers final acts that lead him to be there at that time on that day made the ending all the more tragic. Watch this film!

I think a lot of people, when they are slating the ending of the film, are missing what I considered to be one of the main points.
9/11 came from nowhere, nobody expected it and it was truley tragic for everyone - whether they were actually involved or just watching on tv around the world. I for one thought that this film captured that just perfectly.

I really enjoyed the film. It was good to see Robert Pattinson show exactly how good an actor he really is without acting the part of an alread much loved character. I'm so glad I didn't check the reviews before I saw it however, as knowing the ending would have completely ruined the film for me.

The acting was not the "best" The script was not the "best" The direction was not the "best", but it all worked to tell a poignant family story. The ending made the movie. It didn't hurt to be reminded. But it did.

Nina listen to yourself!! These people are actors - it is their job to portray people from various walks of life, nationalities, religious beliefs etc. We've had Renee Zellweger play the very British Bridget Jones, Ben Kingsley (British) play Gandhi and the list goes on and on. 9/11 may have happened on US soil but it has affected over 90 nations around the world. I might also add that the US is not the only country to experience horrific terrorist attacks on its soil - bombs on British buses and trains, bombs on Spanish trains, restaurants blown up in Indonesia etc. Unfortunately terrorism has touched the lives of millions of people the world over - not just Americans. I also think you missed the point of the movie - it was not about 9/11 per se but illustrated how fragile and precious life is and how you can never know when your time or that of a loved one is up.
