Helen Mirren, Sandra Bullock: SAG Awards Photos

Helen Mirren'

Helen Mirren arrives at the SAG Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles on Jan. 23. Mirren was a nominee for Michael Hoffman's The Last Station, in which she plays the wife of Leon Tolstoy (best supporting actor nominee Christopher Plummer). She lost to Sandra Bullock (below) in the blockbuster The Blind Side.

While accepting her best actress trophy, Bullock thanked her husband, Jesse James, seen below with her. Bullock's emotional but humorous speech has been widely praised. She and Meryl Streep will likely be the two top contenders for the Academy Awards. Nominations will be announced Feb. 2.
