Jared Leto in MR. NOBODY Photos

In Jaco van Dormael’s Mr. Nobody, an old (and I mean old) man — who claims he’s actually in his mid-30s — is about to face death in the not-too-distant future. This 21st-century Methuselah also happens to be both the last mortal on Earth and Jared Leto.
"Almost moving in its gonzo self-assuredness and take-no-prisoners narrative scope," writes Michael Koresky in indieWIRE, "—although with the nearly 140-minute running time, that could just be my exhaustion talking—Mr. Nobody is as ambitious as it is incoherent, an obvious labor of love that’s equal parts science-fiction, romance, and Lynchian mind game."
"Sumptuously crafted and loaded with stellar performances," writes Todd Brown in Twitch, "… Mr Nobody is a film that simply refuses to function according to the rules of conventional narrative. It’s a slippery beast, one that slides constantly between alternate options, alternate threads, and it is very much to Van Dormael’s credit that would could have been an incredibly confusing structure remains quite simple to follow."
Also in the Mr. Nobody cast: Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley (above, top photo), Linh Dan Pham (above, lower photo, with Jared Leto), Rhys Ifan, Tony Regbo, Thomas Byrne, Daniel Mays, and Juno Temple.
At the 2009 Venice Film Festival, production designer Sylvie Olivé was given the award for best technical contribution.

This looks really good, I usually like anything with Sarah Polley in it, she is definitely one of my favorite actresses.
