Fisher Stevens won the Oscar for the The Cove, about dolphin-killing in Japan, voted the Best Feature Documentary of 2009. Jon Cryer was at the ceremony to pay tribute to the late John Hughes. Cryer starred for Hughes in Pretty in Pink, with Molly Ringwald.
