Maurice Jarre

Maurice Jarre, best known for his Oscar-winning association with David Lean in films such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Doctor Zhivago (1965) and A Passage to India (1984), died in his sleep on March 28 at his home in Malibu after a brief illness.
