Vanity Fair strikes again. No, no photo shoots this time. Just the list of Hollywood’s Top 40 moneymakers in 2009, based on estimates that take into consideration up-front fees, box-office/DVD percentages and other revenue sources. White guys, most of them directors and/or producers, took the top ten slots:

Razzies 2010: TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, LAND OF THE LOST Worst Movies

Nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards, aka The Razzies, have been announced.
Michael Bay’s box-office hit Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (above, top photo) and Brad Silberling’s box-office dud Land of the Lost (above, lower photo) lead the pack with seven nominations apiece.
Among the nominations for the (as per The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation’s release) "over-loud, over-long, uber-stupid" Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen were those for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actress (Megan Fox, also for Jennifer’s Body), Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, and Worst Supporting Actress (Julie White).
Among those for Land of the Lost are Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actor (Will Ferrell), Worst Screenplay, and Worst Supporting Actor (Jorma Taccone).

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE Is 2009’s Top Worldwide Blockbuster

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, was the biggest worldwide box-office hit in 2009, grossing $929.4 million, according to Box Office Mojo. More than 2/3 of that amount ($627.4m) came from overseas. In second place was Fox’s Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, with $887.6m ($691m, or 77.9%, overseas), and in third, Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, starring Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, and Josh Duhamel, with $835m ($432.9m, or 51.8%, overseas).
