Pernille Fischer Christensen&#8217;s A Soap revolves around the unlikely friendship that develops between two neighbors: the owner of a beauty salon (Trine Dyrholm) and a pre-op transsexual (David Dencik, above). Additionally, A Soap shared the Jury Grand Prix (with Offside) at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival, where it also won the best first film award.
