Paul Walker Fast and Furious 6Paul Walker tribute: Universal and the 'Fast and Furiou's cast and crew pay homage to the recently deceased actor (image: Paul Walker in 'Fast & Furious 6')

The Tribute to Paul Walker put out by Universal Pictures' “Fast & Furious” YouTube account, will likely please fans of the movie franchise – clearly the video's target audience. Walker died at the age of 40 on November 30, 2013, in a car crash in the town of Santa Clarita, located in the northern outskirts of Los Angeles County. Walker's friend and business partner, 38-year-old former Porsche racing-car driver Roger Rodas, who was at the wheel, was also killed in the accident. Check out the Paul Walker Tribute below.

Now, of course, the Paul Walker Tribute also happens to be a The Fast and the Furious tribute, as no other Paul Walker movie is shown in the two-minute clip. Walker, playing former cop Brian O'Conner, was featured in five of the serie's six movies: The Fast and the Furious (2001), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), and Fast & Furious 6 (2013). Other actors with recurring roles in the franchise are Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, and, more recently, Dwayne Johnson and Elsa Pataky. Among the Fast and Furious “guest stars” were Jason Statham, Eva Mendes, Lucas Black, Kurt Russell, and Matt Schulze.

Paul Walker movies

According to the IMDb, Paul Walker was featured in 31 movies. Among Walker's non-Fast and Furious film credits, oftentimes action/adventure efforts, were Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She's All That, Eight Below, Into the Blue, Running Scared, The Death and Life of Bobby Z, Noel, Flags of Our Fathers, The Lazarus Project, and Takers. His fellow players included Bruce Greenwood, Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon, Vera Farmiga, Idris Elba, Matt Dillon, Josh Brolin, Jessica Alba, Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek, Susan Sarandon, Penélope Cruz, Scott Caan, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jon Voight.

Two other Paul Walker movies are scheduled to come out: Hours, which opens on December 13, 2013, in limited release the United States, and Broken Mansions, with a tentative 2014 release date. Fast & Furious 7 remains a possibility, though it's unclear at this stage whether or not Walker will end up in the final cut of the film, whose production is currently on hiatus.
